Xavier, "Xavi" Gonzalez a middle child, was born in McAllen, Texas, just minutes from the U.S.-Mexico Border, a region full of a strong diverse Mexican-American culture and religious faith. It was quite evident to Xavi's parents from an early age, that Xavi had a passion for music and the arts. At age eleven, his parents bought Xavi a drum set and shortly thereafter he and his brother Rudy Jr. formed the band Astrophix. The two brothers composed their own music and performed regularly at local venues and private events, competed in the battle of the bands and recorded their first extended play (EP). While in High School, Xavi continued playing in the band, and played on the Varsity Football Team of the PSJA North Raiders. He also participated in Drama. While in Drama, he appeared in numerous plays and played lead roles in Aladdin JR. Dual Language Edition, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, The Wizard of OZ, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and Beauty and the Beast. After high school graduation, Xavi and Astrophix went on tour throughout Texas for two and a half months. After returning from the tour, Xavi enrolled at the University of Texas at Pan American and completed two years. During this period, Astrophix continued playing and soon recorded their first professional EP with producer Tomas Costanza and Killgsworth Recording Studios in Los Angeles California. Xavi's passion has been to pursue an acting career, however, he realized the need to make a living while pursuing his passion; so he decided to attend the RGV Career Institute where he successfully completed the Licensed Vocational Nursing Program. He then took the National Council Licensure Examination for Licensed Vocational Nurses and successfully passed on his first try. Xavi now lives in Hollywood where he is vigorously pursuing his acting career and has been cast in numerous short films, including The Drive Home, Destiny, Mindset , Rise Above, Dance with the Devil, and the documentary, Miracle at Donna and TV Series, Border Wars. Xavi is gaining knowledge as an artist while he continues to pursue his acting career.

As an emancipated teenager, he submerged himself deeply into the San Francisco Latino culture in both positive and negative realms. While studying at San Francisco State University, he was approached by a casting director for a television show.
