Tiffany was born Stephanie Hwang in San Francisco, California. Her mother preferred to call her Tiffany. Growing up in Diamond Bar, she attended South Pointe Middle School and Diamond Bar High School. Tiffany is a Korean-American actress and singer-songwriter. In 2007, Tiffany debuted as a member of the globally renowned K-pop girl group, Girls' Generation (aka SNSD) and became one of the best-selling artists in Korea. In 2016, Tiffany became the second Girls' Generation member to debut as a soloist with her album, "I Just Wanna Dance". With a more distinct, American influence embedded in her music, her album reached #3 on the Billboard World Albums Chart and sold over 61,000 physical copies. In 2011, Tiffany kick-started her acting career as a musical actress with a lead role in the Korean adaptation of the musical, "Fame". She then went on to take the role of Roxie Hart in the Korea production of the Broadway musical, "Chicago" (2021). Tiffany's most recent TV series acting endeavor was in the highly successful fantasy, revenge, period drama, "Reborn Rich" (2022), in which the final episode achieved a 26.9% nationwide rating thus becoming the second highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history in both viewership ratings and the number of viewers. Tiffany speaks both American-accented English and Korean fluently.

A native of Chicago, Tiffany began her acting career at the tender age of eight years old, starring as Angel in the gospel play God Answers Prayers. You might remember her best from her work as a series regular, for 10 years, as Marquita Perry on the Emmy award winning gospel television show The Awakening. Currently, she can be seen in the independent films A Get2Gether, Love Relations, and The Evil One. Additional film credits include Barbershop (I & II) and the yet released Roll Bounce. Although being in front of the camera comes naturally for Tiffany she's most at home on the stage. She is not a stranger to performing for live audiences whether participating in The Second City's 1st urban sketch comedy ensemble Forgotten City or portraying a scorned woman in the play The Other Woman each genre was an opportunity to display the emotions of a drama, the timing of a comedy, or combining both emotion and comedic timing in a dramady. The off-Broadway play Choices allowed her the chance to tour from St. Louis to Florida to New York. Having been blessed with the natural talent of a performer this has opened many doors for Tiffany. Including the opportunity to host her very own gospel radio show Lively Stones! Formal training for Tiffany includes theater at Columbia College, scene study in Los Angeles, and voice control at Act One Studios. She has had instruction in dance at Columbia College and Lou Conte Dance Studio (of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago). She is currently studying Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management at Columbia College.
