Thomas Giles aka The Bloody Brit born March 22nd 1971 Ilford Essex UK. Thomas began acting at the age of 13yrs he performed in many stage show and found that he had a knack for comedy. At the age of 15yrs he began a stand up comic career on the London Comedy Circuit and Covert Garden street performer. At the age of 16yrs he began entertaining the London tube commuters in his Tube Theatre show called "Newbury Park to London in an Hour and Laugh" He appeared on "Jamison Tonite" Sky Tv as a guest contestant for the "Red Faces" talent show he Won the talent show with his very funny slapstick Peter Sellers type character "The Cockney Quasimodo" performing the song "Oranges and Lemons". He appeared as "Mark the boyfriend" on the hit tv show "The Bill" Tom Giles (also known as) appeared in many British Pantomime either as the comical relief. or The Villian. One of those great villainous roles was "King Rat" he was so frightening he made several members of the audience wet themselves. He appeared at the Ilford Town Hall in the role of Clack alongside Mick Power. Their performance stole the show and had people rolling on the floor with laughter. Tom began creating Comical Characters on the London Comedy Circuit using his simple Make up Kit. His characters became very popular and people really enjoyed his "Freddy Kruger Bloody No Job" character complete with cardboard knives for fingers. He began to dabble more and more in the make up effects and upon moving to the States be began acting and creating Special Makeup Effects for film and theatre. He was hired to act in the film "The Monument" and was hired to help create some Ghosts and Avalanche victims makeup. The film won best new Horror at the Hauntcon Festival. His work began to make an impact on the horror audiences and to quote a member of the audience at "The Monument" Wow! It looks so real you would think Tom dug them up from the grave yard". Tom formed the special makeup effects company "Things Dismembered" in 2005 and has been creating "Killer" special make up effects for many Indie Film companies and theatre companies since 2005. Tom earned the name "The Bloody Brit" for his gory effects and is now known in the industry by this name. He attended Redbridge College and graduated with a B-TEC In The Performing Arts.
