Orlando's first foray into feature films came when Kenneth Branagh handpicked Orlando to serve as his acting understudy in the critically acclaimed and academy award nominated film adaption of Hamlet. Roles in Sleepy Hollow, Pride & Prejudice and Hysteria quickly followed, with Orlando winning high praise from critics and fans alike for his portrayal of Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott. He was also a series regular on Britons top rated television series. Orlando regularly travels back and forth between Los Angeles and London; He also speaks fluent French and has mastered a wide variety of dialects including a perfect American accent. His performances in local area productions lead to an award for "Best Drama Solo" at the Fine Arts Festival North Texas District. Orlando's radio and commercial resume includes work with: Cinemark Theatres, Radio Disney and 91.5 KGRM. As Orlando began his collegiate studies at Grambling State University (GSU) in Louisiana he still found time to act as Youth Drama Director at Bishop T.D. Jakes' The Potters House Ministries in Dallas, Texas. During his time at the Potters House, Orlando has entertained thousands in a plethora of skits and on the media and production team for a number of conferences and events including 2013 MegaFest. At GSU, Orlando was a member of NABJ (National Association of Black Journalists) and the World Famed Tiger Marching Band performing for thousands across the U.S. while still balancing his budding acting career in campus theatrical performances. Some of his key acting roles at GSU included: Emmitt Till in "The Story of Emmitt Till"; Jason in "Medea, by Euripides" and Walter Lee in "To be Young, Gifted and Black."
