He spent some years joyfully examining his insides in the Experimental Theatre Wing at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He found movement under the tutelage of Stephen Petronio, Barney O'Hanlon, and Annie B. Parsons. He found his voice in the hymns of Richard Armstrong and Jonathan Hart Makwaia, and he found action in the guidance of Terry Knickerbocker, Kevin Kuhlke, Jessica Hecht, Betsy Aidem and a slew of other beautiful souls. A die hard Garden State fan, imagi-married to Hayley Williams, and continually attempting to fresco the French language onto the inner lining of his cranium.. he's spiked his hair since the age of 7 if only to pursue dreams of being a Super Saiyan. Music is his life blood. It reminds him how to run. He can oft be found in the center of a mosh pit, or weeping in the fourth row of a Regina Spektor concert. Someday he would like to live in the Musée d'Orsay, if only to wake up to the tune of Monet's 'Magpie' every morning. He's working to always be an accomplice - to be in action, not just in knowing. One of our greatest traits is the ability to relearn ourselves with others. Hell, he'd probably tattoo something beautiful on his chest as a testament to human wonder, were it not for an irrational fear of losing a role in Aaron Sorkin's next project. He carries copies of Red Light Winter and Over The Anvil We Stretch in his backpack because little reminders of how art can change you feel like the best things to bring with. One time he scribbled notes on a 4x6 while Michael Shannon, clad in the baddest kicks, said "it takes a village to raise an actor". He was born in 1991 on July 22nd in Canada, and spent much of his early life moving around the world, living in South Africa, Israel, Egypt and Amsterdam. He was introduced to film at a young age by his father who is also an actor, who was largely responsible for introducing him to the instruments he still plays today, including guitar, piano and drums as well as vocals. He began acting professionally at 17. His early roles included guest stars in Fringe, Supernatural, and Arctic Air, in which he was nominated for a UBCP Award in the category of Best Newcomer. He then recurred largely in Bates Motel, The 100, The Returned and Rogue. He was nominated for a Leo Award as Best Supporting Actor for his supporting lead role in The Hunters, and has since lead other movies such as the upcoming thriller Polaroid, as well as Extracurricular, both set to release in 2019.
