Kayleigh-Paige Rees (born 21st December, 1996) is an English actress. She made her professional acting debut in a Samsung commercial which prefaced the new Star Wars trilogy. After that, Kayleigh-Paige spent two years working on award-winning independent films including 'Ann Rolls Green' and 'Summer Can Wait'. In 2018, Kayleigh-Paige teamed up with writer George Perry to open their own production company 'Raspberry Films'. Their first short film 'Skinny Wold', was aimed at raising awareness around eating disorders, which won over 20 awards and had a screening to raise money for the charity BEAT. In the summer of 2018, Kayleigh-Paige met with her favourite author Belinda Jones and is currently working on a film adaptation of one of her novels 'Cafe Tropicana'. 'Raspberry Films' has continued to strive and is currently producing five films ready for release in 2022/2023. They are also working on a body image and eating disorder documentary. 'Raspberry Films' has just gone into production for feature film 'Kate and Jake' starring Crissy Rock and Paul Barber. In July 2020, it was announced Kayleigh-Paige Rees would be starring in feature film 'Faulty Roots' alongside Melanie Walters, an honest representation of teen mental health. In 2019, Kayleigh-Paige received notable credit for playing Julia Beaufort in Andrew Davies' adaptation of Jane Austen's unfinished novel 'Sanditon', which aired on ITV in the UK, Masterpiece PBS in the US and BBC Worldwide. In January 2021, Kayleigh-Paige' production company opened the 'Cotswold International Film Festival'. The festival offers the chance for independent filmmakers around the world to showcase their work and earn recognition across several short film genres, with submission windows every two months. The aim of the festival is to give independent filmmakers mainstream opportunities and help further their careers. Kayleigh-Paige is a strong advocate for improving the representation of mental health in the media and destroying the stigma surrounding eating disorders.
