Born and raised in Brooklyn, Gary was stung by the acting bug early on when starring in a 6th grade school play as the king in "The King and I." Many years later, after graduating from Vanderbilt University Law School, Gary moved to Washington, DC. There while working as lawyer for the federal government, he moonlighted as an actor in various community theater productions and a few film appearances while also taking acting classes in his spare time with various individuals and theater groups. With the siren song growing ever stronger in ensuing years, Gary resigned from his law career with the federal government and moved in late December 2003 to Los Angeles to pursue, full-time, a career in TV and Film. There he continues to be a student of film, TV, and stage while participating in projects within each of those categories and anticipating the eventual "big break."
