After being discharged from the U.S. Navy after World War II, Ed Warren was an itinerant house and sign painter traveling around New England. However, with his wife Lorraine Warren, née Lorraine Moran, he became known as a demonologist employed in investigating reports of haunted houses. They attained national renown in 1975 when they wrote up their reports of their investigation of the George Lutz house in Amityville, Long Island, New York. The Lutz family moved into the house, which had been the site of the murder of five members of the DeFeo family the previous year. The Lutz family moved out after 28 days, claiming that they had been chased out by ghosts and other demons. Although some felt that the story was a hoax, the Warrens swore that, after their investigation, the house was haunted. The Warrens were the founders of the New England Society for Psychic Research.

Born in Baltimore Maryland, Edward Weibe, from a musical family, a blue collar family, and in one instance nephew of a famed circus performer bearing the same name. Grew up in the Baltimore area and adjacent cities and began working for NASA at the young age of 17 at a local Space Flight Center while attending college at night. His knack for complicated circuitry and incredible troubleshooting skills led him to work on some of the more complex workings in NASA missions such as IUE, OAO, Nimbus, Landsat, the Space Station, Hubble and even the Space Shuttle. He brought Hubble Outreach in Baltimore up to date with HDTV in the early 2000's, and even provided the famous 'tank shot' from the Space Shuttle Launches after the Columbia disaster required constant monitoring of the tank during ascent. As the manned space program took a bit of a break he moved on to other interests while pursuing video and audio forensic analysis as a sideline, and taking video and other talents to working with a National Security Agency (but not NSA). His skills also include voice over and can be heard in Hubble and some security training products.
