Dorianna Gilbert was born in Fort Hood, Texas to Derrick and Shannoda Gilbert. Dorianna is a military brat. Her mother and father both served in the United States Army and retired. Dorianna is known for her cute smile and being a Pageant Queen in the state of Texas. Her cute smile and pageant skills landed her numerous commercials, photo shoots, and fashion shows. At the age of 4 Dorianna knew she wanted to model, dance, sing, and become an actress. She started off with a agency based out of Dallas. Dorie Barton made her debut as writer-director with the feature film "Girl Flu." which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2016 and went on to become a festival hit, screening at dozens of festivals worldwide, winning many awards, including the Audience Award in the New Director category at the Nashville Film Festival. As an actor, Barton has been seen in on numerous television shows from daytime drama to multi-cam sitcoms, major motion pictures such as "Down with Love" opposite Ewan MacGregor, and indie favorites including Bobcat Goldthwait's "God Bless America." Barton is an award-winning stage performer, most recently starring as Mary in Sarah Ruhl's "Passion Play" and performing the title role in Len Jenkins' "Margot Veil." Dorien Davies is a Los Angeles based actress, writer and puppeteer. She was born in Santa Barbara, California, and learned to walk in her parents beloved store, The Earthling Bookshop. She did community theater and local radio commercials as a child and got her BA from Mount Holyoke College where she majored in Theater and Studio Art. Dorien moved to Los Angeles after graduation and continued her education. She found a her people in improv comedy and sketch and eventually met her husband, actor/writer Kenny Stevenson in a class at the Groundings Theater. In 2012, Dorien, Kenny, producer- Lisa Rudin and director- Eric Kissack made an independent, rom-com called "Love, Sex and Missed Connections." The film went to 15 film festivals around the world and won 11 awards. Dorien's involvement in that movie remains on of her proudest accomplishments. Dorien trained as a puppeteer for the Jim Henson Company's live improvised stage show, "Puppet Up!" in 2005. It was there that she found her calling. She has continued to work in puppetry, performing and voicing dozens of characters for film and TV. She is one of a dozen puppeteers in the US who can operate the Henson Digital Puppetry System. She is skilled in numerous styles of puppetry, RC control and MoCap work. In recent years, Dorien has started writing for children's television and is in various stages of development on numerous creative projects. She and her husband have one daughter who listens to all their pitches first.
