Clayton was born in Long Beach Memorial Hospital of Long Beach, California. He is half German half Italian from his father Steve Snyder and mother Glenda Snyder, respectively, and the youngest of two half-brothers, Doug and Devin. Acting began when he received leading roles in his elementary school plays, playing Mark Twain in Tom Sawyer and The Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz. He also swam for Seal Beach Swim Club until he joined the Seal Beach Water Polo Club at age 8. He also picked up the alto saxophone for three years, would later pick up guitar, played other sports including soccer, baseball, and basketball, and took lessons for voice, tap and jazz dancing, and cotillion. Entering McAuliff Middle School, he began auditioning for professional roles in Hollywood. In his second year, he landed the recurring role of Ethan Craft in the Disney series Lizzie McGuire. The series ran for two years, while he continued to attend public school in Orange County and play club water polo. During the second season, Clayton was a member of the 2001 Speedo Cup championship water polo team with SOCAL Water Polo Club, being awarded the Jody Campbell Award for skill, sportsmanship, and teamwork. He would miss his freshman water polo season at Los Alamitos High School to film The Lizzie McGuire Movie in Rome, Italy and Vancouver, Canada. It was then he decided to put acting on hold and pursue his academic and athletic careers. His high school team played in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 Final the next three years, winning his junior year. He was named All-County in Orange County, MPSF player of the year, and CIF co-player of the year. Various universities recruited Clayton for water polo including Pepperdine, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Berkeley. Clayton chose to attend Pepperdine University with a water polo scholarship and started all four years and as captain his junior and senior year. The team finished 2nd in the nation his junior year in 2004, and was named All-American Honorable Mention. He performed as a member of the prestige Hosts in Pepperdine's mini-musical competition, Songfest, and also performed in the student-run dance showcase Dance In Flight for three years. He graduated with honors with a BA in Film Studies. Upon graduating in 2010, he pursued making the USA National Water Polo Team, training with them during the summer and went on to play professionally in Europe. Clayton played for a season in Italy, a second in Hungary, and a third in Montenegro that was cut short due to injury. In 2011 he competed in the World University Games in Shenzhen, China placing 4th. Clayton continues to play for recreation in Masters tournaments for International Water Polo Club of Los Alamitos, CA. Clayton now continues his acting career working on various projects under the representation of Strong Management.

Described as "a highly perceptive and intelligent artist capable of discovering the nuances within his characters" who "shines brightest portraying tricksters with devout love", Clayton Stocker Myers has proven his capability as a strong leading man in his breakout role in Heaven Burns (2010) which earned him his first award for Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film at the Action On Film international Film Festival. Some of the lead credits in feature films accumulated shortly after include Privacy (2012), The Guide (2013), and The Maladjusted (2013), which further demonstrated his presence even in a character role as his comedic performance garnered him his second award for Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film from the 2013 Action On Film International Film Festival. While his focus remains on acting in television and film, as an avid fan of animation he holds onto an equal passion towards voiceover, as well as a dedicated appreciation towards the theatre. Some of his favorite theatrical productions to have been a part of include David Mamet's American Buffalo (in which he played the role of Bobby, Tape by Stephen Belber, in the role of Vincent, and most recently the role of Ed in the debut performance in the play The Accidental Caregiver by Greggor Collins' about his own experiences and time shared with that of the Jewish refugee and Holocaust survivor, Maria Altman through to her final days. This play was adapted from Collin's own novel of the same name. Upcoming productions Myers has wrapped on include a portrayal of a drug-induced hallucination of the ghost of Lenny Bruce in Lonnie Martin's The Last of The Manson Girls, a confederate general in his fifth collaboration with Benjamin Joseph Baker How The West Was Dead, The older brother of three reunited for a family affair in Take Me With You, which reunited Myers with his Heaven Burns co-star Spencer Garrett, and just wrapped on the large scope indie-feature Lighthouse Unmanned. Most recently, Heaven Burns has been officially released to instant video through Amazon.com. Considered a Bi-Coastal actor, Myers has a habit of traveling for his work often. Even when not performing, he is continually working on his craft as an actor and storyteller. Enough so, that he is finishing up his final draft of his first feature screenplay with intentions to produce in the late Summer/Fall of 2017.
Clayton was raised in Foothill CA. Before entering film and TV full time he served in both the US Army and Air Force. He is now based in London UK where he resides with his wife and three children. As a method actor Clay immerses himself in every character regardless of how big or small, and as such he has been cast in many different roles, to include roles as both American and German soldiers. He has appeared several short films and on stage. He enjoys portraying grittier characters and uses his life experiences to bring his characters to life and giving them a realistic portrayal. Clay is also an accomplished song writer and singer and was the lead singer of the European band Original Pain.

Clayton Vila is an American professional skier turned writer/director from the remote Block Island, Rhode Island. Despite growing up on an island 14 miles out on the ocean without a mountain in sight, Clayton became a professional skier at age 18. After years of success, including winning an X Games medal and starring in dozens of the world's biggest ski movies, Vila decided to begin directing the ski moves that he starred in. He quickly fell in love with craft decided to branch out to other areas of the film industry. In 2018, he directed a feature documentary for ESPN, Back to Life, which successfully launched his career as a filmmaker. Today, Clayton is still an active professional skier, sponsored by Monster Energy and K2 Skis, while directing documentaries, national TV commercials, and narrative films for countless brands and studios.
