Christopher Wells is a writer, director and producer who was born in Long Island and adopted by a family of artists with strong ties to Vermont. As a kid he used his imagination to tell stories and play games like Dungeons and Dragons so from an early age he learned how to think quickly on his feet to keep an audience engaged. After graduating from the Glen Cove High School Christopher went to Towson State University then to School of Visual Arts where his filmmaking really took off producing a bunch of short films. He became the first student to have a PSA air nationally for Partnership for a Drug Free America which is kind of funny because he's for legalizing marijuana so he made the character smoke crack in his 30 second spot so he wouldn't be called out. His approach was to make a short film rather and the board really appreciate that approach. Taking on clients who utilized his ability to tell a story enabled him to laugh his own full service production company Kaleidoscope Pictures, mostly known for Kpictures in 2002. This gives him the opportunity to produces videos for a wide variety of clients as well as short and feature films. His belief is good filmmaking starts off with an original story then the right execution along with rating everyone on set with respect. Christopher loves conversations, art and music but most of all filmmaking. His first feature length film was a documentary about his Father's art titled "Romantic Realism-The Art of Roderick A. Wells" which premiered in NYC and screened in Vermont. His 2nd feature is "The Luring" which is a twisted psychological Thriller that looks Wells into a very dark place because he was not allowed to use fake blood in his parents house. Instead of making a slasher film he opted to write something that would disturb him and now since it's release, his audience. On his off time he likes to read graphic novels, take pictures, workout and have random conversations with fellow humans. Usually with a drink in their hand.
