Bahia Watson was born in Carman, Manitoba, Canada. She grew up in Winnipeg. Studied philosophy and theater at the Lebanese University and studied film in France (Ecole Nationale Supérieure Louis Lumière, Université Paris 8 -Ecole des hautes etudes en sciences sociales) Since 1990 Bahij is a Professor of cinema at the Institute of Fine Arts (Lebanese University). Since 1985, Bahij directed several documentaries and television programs for the Lebanese TV channel "LBC". In 1995 he founded his own production company "online films - Beirut" in Lebanon.
