Ash Kahn was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada to immigrant parents. His father suffered from addiction which consequently created a tumultuous and violent environment, while his mother worked three jobs to be able to put a roof over their heads. As a result, Ash spent a lot of his spare time alone watching movies and television shows where he found solace in living vicariously through characters. This is where he found his fated passion for acting. His father passed away the day before his thirteenth birthday which sent Ash in a downward spiral finishing his freshman year of high school with a 1.3 GPA. His end-of-year meeting with his counselor gave him a wake-up call and ended up finishing high school with Advanced Honors. He went on to receive his B.A. in Theatre Studies from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. While in college, Ash appeared in numerous theatrical productions at the Nevada Conservatory Theatre and also received the Robert Brewer Award for excellent performance in the theatre program. After graduating college in 2018, Ash moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in film/television and has appeared on shows such as Mythic Quest and Home Economics. Acting has given Ash an opportunity to embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and has helped him uncover parts of himself that he had buried deep within him. He hopes through his exploration of human experience to nurture more empathy in the world and to provide others with the same comfort movies and television shows did for him.
