Karan, giving in to his father's wish, breaks up with his childhood crush Natasha and gets married to Anjali. Anjali, with all the commitment a traditional Indian girl has, begins to build Karan's world. But despite of all her goodness, Karan feels no attachment for her and eventually confesses that he doesn't wish to be in this forced marital alliance. Anjali learns of Natasha and decides to step away calling her trustworthy friend Vinod. In the tale of relationships, trust, devotion and sacrifices all the four characters finally gets to achieve what is right for them.

Shershaah is the story of PVC awardee Indian soldier Capt. Vikram Batra, whose bravery and unflinching courage in chasing the Pakistani soldiers out of Indian territory contributed immensely in India finally winning the Kargil War in 1999.
