Based on the Medical entrance exam scam, Vidya has been blackmailed and kidnapped by Dhansu Yadav who is running the scam. Her brother Aditya is on a hunt to get Vidya back but eventually gets trapped and got arrested under the scam.

Demoted for misconduct, Umesh, an eccentric genius and the youngest inspector in the history of UP police, is posted to a fictional sleepy town Jhaagi. The town is known for unsolved crimes and mysterious sightings.
